Observing the hive today, both are very busy bringing in pollen and nectar. The EW#2 hive is definitely the stronger hive. Below I have a picture of the first time I laid eyes on Evelyn, her majesty.. Picture is from Saturday’s inspection (4/29/2017)
Looking forward to getting in there this weekend and seeing where the WH#1 hive is on there Re-Queen process. They had decided that the Queen that the distributor put with the package was not to their liking, so they have killed her or something. She was no where to be found in my last hive inspection on Saturday April 29th. They had built five to six queen cells and there was lava in them that they were diligently tending to. I will take some pictures this weekend in case you haven’t seen a queen cell before. They had only drawn out 3-ish frames compared to the 5-6 in the EH#2 Hive.
